California High School Volleyball - Mayfield tips Long Beach Poly
October 4, 2024: Long Beach, CA 90813 Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Mayfield Cubs (Pasadena, CA) and the host Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits (Long Beach, CA), observed Mayfield's volleyball team hold off Long Beach Poly by a count of 2-1.
The Cubs (20-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers enter the non-league contest with a 22-2 record. In their last contest, Sierra Canyon got by Bishop Alemany (Mission Hills, CA), 3-1, in a league contest.
Next, the Jackrabbits battle the Millikan Rams (Long Beach, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 5. Long Beach Poly will attempt to move on its 21-12 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 8-8 record after their 3-0 league win over Compton (Compton, CA).
