October 4, 2025: Beloit, WI 53511 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) and the host Beloit Memorial Purple Knights (Beloit, WI), observed Homestead's volleyball team top Beloit Memorial by a count of 2-0.
The Highlanders (14-14) will now prepare for their battle against Nicolet (Glendale, WI). The Knights go into the non-league battle with a 11-10 record. In their last battle, Nicolet dropped by Cedarburg (Cedarburg, WI), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Purple Knights now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fond du Lac for a non-league battle on Wednesday, October 8. Beloit Memorial will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Dominican (Whitefish Bay, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.
