In Saturday's non-league game, the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) football team overcame the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), by a margin of 35-18.

The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Gonzaga for a outing on Saturday, October 11. Bishop McNamara will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 21-14 non-league loss to Benedictine (Richmond, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
