Vermont High School Football - Burlington/South Burlington crushed by St. Johnsbury Academy
October 4, 2025: Burlington, VT St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) fans went home in high spirits Saturday as they observed their football squad crush the host Burlington/South Burlington (Burlington, VT), 49-7 in a league outing.
The Hilltoppers now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Essex for a Metro outing on Friday, October 10. St. Johnsbury Academy will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 37-7 league win over Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT). The Hornets record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Burlington/South Burlington drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The host Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT) to clash with the Bobwhites/Comets in a Metro outing on Thursday, October 9. The Bobwhites/Comets come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Bellows Free Academy lost 60-21 in their recent league outing against Colchester (Colchester, VT)
