Casa Grande Gauchos (Petaluma, CA) boosters were content Saturday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Redwood Giants (Larkspur, CA), 31-28 in a league match.

The Gauchos (2-4) will now prepare for their match against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA). The Braves come into the Redwood Empire - Valley match with a 0-5 record.

Coming up next, the Giants confront the Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA) in a Redwood Empire - Valley battle, on Saturday, October 11. Redwood will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Red Tailed Hawks go into the battle with a 1-5 record after their 34-13 league loss to American Canyon (American Canyon, CA).
