The Model Secondary School for the Deaf Eagles football team (Washington, DC), was crushed 50-6 in Saturday's non-league bout with the host Life Christian Academy Eagles (Chester, VA)

With the win, Life Christian Academy advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to John Paul II Catholic (Greenville, NC) to encounter the Saints in a non-league contest on Friday, October 17. The Saints enter the contest with a record of 6-1.

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Girard College Cavaliers (Philadelphia, PA) in a Keystone State (8 Man) contest, on Saturday, October 18. Model Secondary School for the Deaf will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a 0-5 record after their 22-14 league loss to Coventry Christian (Pottstown, PA).
