Illinois High School Football - De La Salle can't hold off Leo
October 4, 2025: Chicago, IL 60616 Leo Lions (Chicago, IL) followers went home in high spirits Saturday as they saw their football team tip the host De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL), 6-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Leo advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Lions travel to St. Rita (Chicago, IL) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league match on Friday, October 10. The Mustangs come into the match with a record of 3-3. St. Rita won 44-38 in their recent non-league match against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL)
Coming up next, the Meteors confront the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers (Joliet, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 17. De La Salle will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
