Illinois High School Football - Joliet Catholic sneaks past Niles Notre Dame
October 4, 2025: Joliet, IL 60435 The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Niles Notre Dame Dons to 14 in the Hilltoppers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hilltoppers now hold a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Chicago Mt. Carmel for a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 11. Joliet Catholic will face a Caravan team coming off a 33-27 non-league win over Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Caravan record now stands at 6-0.
The Dons (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brother Rice (Chicago, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Brother Rice was nipped by Chicago Mt. Carmel (Chicago, IL), 33-27, in a non-league test.
