New York High School Soccer - Tamarac knocks off Troy
October 4, 2025: Troy, NY 12180 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Tamarac Bengals (Troy, NY) and the host Troy Flying Horses (Troy, NY), saw Tamarac's soccer squad prevail over Troy by a score of 4-0.
The Bengals (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Mechanicville (Mechanicville, NY). The Red Raiders enter the Wasaren battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, Mechanicville by Waterford-Halfmoon (Waterford, NY), 2-0, in a league battle.
In their next game, the Flying Horses meet the La Salle Institute Cadets (Troy, NY) in a Colonial Council test, on Monday, October 6. Troy will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record. The Cadets come into the test with a 4-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cohoes (Cohoes, NY).
