October 4, 2025: Tohatchi, NM 87325 The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Thoreau Hawks (Thoreau, NM) and the host Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), witnessed Thoreau's football squad wallop Tohatchi by a tally of 38-0.
The Hawks (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Crownpoint (Crownpoint, NM). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Crownpoint smashed Newcomb (Newcomb, NM), 22-20, in a non-league bout.
The Cougars now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Crownpoint for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 18.
