Illinois High School Soccer - Aurora East nudges Batavia
October 4, 2025: Batavia, IL 60510 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Aurora East Tomcats (Aurora, IL) and the host Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), saw Aurora East's soccer squad hold off Batavia by a count of 2-1.
The Tomcats (4-8) will now prepare for their battle against Bartlett (Bartlett, IL). The Hawks enter the Upstate Eight - West battle with a 10-6 record. In their last battle, Bartlett tipped Elgin (Elgin, IL), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a DuKane match, on Tuesday, October 7. Batavia will attempt to move on its 2-12 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the match with a 9-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Rockford East (Rockford, IL).
