Michigan High School Soccer - Leslie nudges Maple Valley
October 4, 2025: Vermontville, MI 49096 In Saturday's league outing, the visiting Leslie Blackhawks soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Maple Valley Lions.
The Blackhawks (7-14) will now prepare for their outing against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Comets go into the non-league outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Jonesville got by Will Carleton Academy (Hillsdale, MI), 4-1, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Lions clash with the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a non-league test, on Monday, October 6. Maple Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-12 season record. The Orioles come into the test with a 1-9 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Comstock (Kalamazoo, MI).
