Pennsylvania High School Soccer - Our Lady of the Sacred Heart knocks off Moon Area
October 4, 2025: Moon Township, PA 15108 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Chargers (Coraopolis, PA) and the host Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), witnessed Our Lady of the Sacred Heart's soccer team knock off Moon Area by a final score of 3-0.
With the triumph, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Carlynton (Carnegie, PA) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 7. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 1-11. Carlynton won 3-0 in their recent league test against Bishop Canevin (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Tigers now sport a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they host Montour for a WPIAL AAAA 4 test on Tuesday, October 7. Moon Area will meet a Spartans team coming off a 2-0 league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Spartans record now stands at 8-7.
