The Kennedy Commanders nipped the visiting Aurora Central Trojans softball team by a margin of 1-0 in Saturday's non-league battle.

The Commanders now sport a 7-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Overland for a non-league battle on Tuesday, October 7. Kennedy will meet a Trailblazers squad coming off a 15-4 non-league loss to Silver Creek (Longmont, CO). The Trailblazers record now stands at 6-7.
