October 4, 2025: Andover, KS 67002 The Andover Trojans volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Pittsburg Dragons to 0 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now have a 14-9 record. They play next when they host Kapaun Mt. Carmel for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Andover will play a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Bishop Carroll (Wichita, KS). The Crusaders record now stands at 15-9.
With the loss, Pittsburg drops to 14-6 on the campaign. The Dragons host Labette County (Altamont, KS) to play the Grizzlies in a Southeast Kansas game on Tuesday, October 7. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 9-15. Labette County won 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Erie (Erie, KS)
