Kentucky High School Volleyball - Beechwood can't hold off Ballard
October 4, 2025: Fort Mitchell, KY 41017 In Saturday's non-league match, the Ballard Bruins (Louisville, KY) volleyball squad tipped the host Beechwood Tigers (Fort Mitchell, KY), by a count of 2-1.
Next up, the Bruins battle the Great Crossing Warhawks (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league match, on Monday, October 6. Ballard will attempt to move on its 20-3 season record. The Warhawks enter the match with a 18-9 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to North Oldham (Goshen, KY).
The Tigers (26-3) will now prepare for their match against Holmes (Covington, KY). The Bulldogs come into the District 35 bout with a 1-19 record. In their last bout, Holmes was nudged by Notre Dame Academy (Park Hills, KY), 2-0, in a league bout.
