October 4, 2025: Reserve, LA 70084 The Byrd Yellow Jackets (Shreveport, LA) volleyball overcame the host Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Yellow Jackets (19-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeshore (Mandeville, LA). The go into the non-league battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Lakeshore dropped by John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Rebels now own a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lutheran for a Division V District 8 battle on Tuesday, October 7. Riverside Academy will encounter a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West St. John (Edgard, LA). The Gryphons record now stands at 3-8.
