In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Centennial Broncos.

With the win, Johnson County Central improves its record to 20-0 on the season. The Thunderbirds host Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE) to face the Bobcats in a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 14-3. Exeter-Milligan/Friend won 3-0 in their recent league test against Osceola (Osceola, NE)

The Broncos now own a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Centennial will face a Titans team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE). The Titans record now stands at 11-7.
