Michigan High School Volleyball - Chippewa Valley edged by Lutheran Northwest
October 4, 2025: Clinton Township, MI 48038 Lutheran Northwest Crusaders (Rochester Hills, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Chippewa Valley Big Reds (Clinton Township, MI), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lutheran Northwest improves its record to 5-10 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy (Brighton, MI) to face the Sentinels in a Michigan Independent - Blue challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a record of 9-5. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Byron (Byron, MI)
Next, the Big Reds meet the Lakeview Huskies (St. Clair Shores, MI) in a Macomb Area - Blue challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Chippewa Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-10 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 3-0 league win over St. Clair (St. Clair, MI).
