Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Clay City Eels (Clay City, IN) and the visiting Scottsburg Warriors (Scottsburg, IN), observed Clay City's volleyball team hold off Scottsburg by a count of 2-1.

The Eels (9-10) will now prepare for their contest against Shakamak (Jasonville, IN). The Lakers enter the Southwestern Indiana contest with a 17-7 record. In their last contest, Shakamak was tipped by Linton-Stockton (Linton, IN), 3-1, in a league contest.
