The Coventry Comets volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Roosevelt Rough Riders to 0 in the Comets non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Comets now have a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Ravenna for a Metro Athletic outing on Tuesday, October 7.

The Rough Riders (6-12) will now prepare for their game against Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Greenmen go into the Suburban-American game with a 15-5 record. In their last game, Aurora gained a win over Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH), 3-1, in a league game.
