The Crest Lancers volleyball squad (Colony, KS), was defeated 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Galena Bulldogs (Galena, KS)

With the win, Galena improves its record to 16-8 on the season. The Bulldogs host Baxter Springs (Baxter Springs, KS) to meet the Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, October 6. The Lions enter the contest with a record of 19-8. Baxter Springs won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against St. Mary's-Colgan (Pittsburg, KS)
