October 4, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70813 The De La Salle Cavalier (New Orleans, LA) volleyball knocked off the host Southern Lab Kittens (Baton Rouge, LA), 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Cavalier (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Booker T. Washington (New Orleans, LA). The Lions enter the Division III District 9 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Booker T. Washington was knocked off by John Curtis Christian (River Ridge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Kittens battle the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, October 4. Southern Lab will attempt to improve on its 14-14 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the battle with a 4-15 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA).
