Kentucky High School Volleyball - Ryle can't hold off Great Crossing

October 4, 2025: Georgetown, KY

In Saturday's non-league bout, the Great Crossing Warhawks (Georgetown, KY) volleyball team held off the visiting Ryle Raiders (Union, KY), by a margin of 3-2.

The Warhawks now possess a 18-9 record. They play next when they host North Oldham for a non-league bout on Saturday, October 4. Great Crossing will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Floyd Central (Floyds Knobs, IN). The Mustangs record now stands at 13-10.

Next, the Raiders battle the Holy Cross Indians (Covington, KY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 7. Ryle will attempt to move on its 16-11 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 14-11 record after their 2-0 non-league win over John Hardin (Elizabethtown, KY).
