Holcomb Longhorns (Holcomb, KS) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Medicine Lodge Indians (Medicine Lodge, KS), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Holcomb improves its record to 24-4 on the season. The Longhorns host Liberal (Liberal, KS) to meet the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 4-16.

Next, the Indians meet the Garden Plain Owls (Garden Plain, KS) in a Central Plains challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Medicine Lodge will attempt to upgrade on its 29-2 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 21-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Lakin (Lakin, KS).
