October 4, 2025: Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629 Horseshoe Bend Mustangs (Horseshoe Bend, ID) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Valley Vikings (Hazelton, ID), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Horseshoe Bend improves its record to 13-4 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Tri-Valley (Cambridge, ID) to meet the Titans in a 1A Long Pin challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Tri-Valley lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Salmon River (Riggins, ID)
Next, the Vikings meet the Oakley Hornets (Oakley, ID) in a 2A Snake River challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 15-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ririe (Ririe, ID).
