Southwood Knights (Wabash, IN) backers were pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Huntington North Vikings (Huntington, IN), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Knights (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Kokomo (Kokomo, IN). The Wildkats come into the non-league challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, Kokomo beat Logansport (Logansport, IN), 3-1, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muncie Central for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Huntington North will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Connersville (Connersville, IN). The Bearcats record now stands at 12-8.
