Illinois High School Volleyball - Normal University tips Mahomet-Seymour
October 4, 2025: Mahomet, IL 61853 In Saturday's non-league test, the visiting Normal University Pioneers volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs.
With the win, Normal University improves its record to 22-4 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL) to face the Cyclones in a Central State Eight test on Tuesday, October 7. The Cyclones go into the test with a record of 12-8. Sacred Heart-Griffin won 2-0 in their recent league test against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL)
The Bulldogs now own a 22-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mt. Zion for a Apollo test on Tuesday, October 7. Mahomet-Seymour will face a Braves squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Charleston (Charleston, IL). The Braves record now stands at 14-10.
