October 4, 2025: Marlette, MI 48453 Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Marlette Red Raiders (Marlette, MI), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Pewamo-Westphalia upgrades its record to 22-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Dansville (Dansville, MI) to meet the Aggies in a Central Michigan challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Aggies come into the challenge with a record of 6-13. Dansville lost 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Saranac (Saranac, MI)
Next, the Red Raiders meet the Capac Chiefs (Capac, MI) in a Greater Thumb - East challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Marlette will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 1-12 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sandusky (Sandusky, MI).
