With the win, New Iberia improves its record to 6-17 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to St. James (St. James, LA) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Saturday, October 4. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 4-7. St. James lost 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Hanson Memorial (Franklin, LA)
Next, the Kittens meet the South Terrebonne Gators (Bourg, LA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 4. Southern Lab will attempt to upgrade on its 14-14 season record. The Gators enter the contest with a 8-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Thomas Jefferson (Gretna, LA).
