The Springfield Tigers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Yellow Medicine East Sting to 1 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now have a 5-16 record. They play next when they travel to Litchfield for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 4. Springfield will play a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central (Norwood-Young America, MN). The Dragons record now stands at 8-10.
