October 5, 2022: Edgewood, KY 41017 In Wednesday's non-league game, the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) football team knocked off the host Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY), by a final score of 41-20.
The Jaguars (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY). The Tigers come into the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Beechwood was dropped by Highlands (Fort Thomas, KY), 28-6, in a non-league game.
The Colonels now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Campbell County for a game on Wednesday, October 12. Dixie Heights will battle a Camels team coming off a 40-7 league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Camels record now stands at 1-5.
