October 5, 2022: New Kent, VA 23124 The New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) football edged the visiting York Falcons (Yorktown, VA), 8-6 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Lafayette Rams (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, October 8. New Kent will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Rams enter the bout with a 3-3 record after their 36-8 non-league loss to Smithfield (Smithfield, VA).
The Falcons (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA). The Eagles enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Jamestown was nudged by Poquoson (Poquoson, VA), 36-16, in a non-league bout.
