New York High School Soccer - Aquinas Institute knocks off Wayne
October 5, 2023: Ontario Center, NY 14520 Aquinas Institute Little Irish (Rochester, NY) supporters were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Wayne Eagles (Ontario Center, NY), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Little Irish confront the Pittsford Panthers (Pittsford, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Aquinas Institute will attempt to move on its 9-1 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 15-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Canandaigua Academy (Canandaigua, NY).
The Eagles now possess a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they host Mynderse Academy for a Finger Lakes - East challenge on Tuesday, October 10. Wayne will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-3.
