October 5, 2023: Cayce, SC 29033 The Lower Richland Diamond Hornets (Hopkins, SC) football defeated the host Brookland-Cayce Bearcats (Cayce, SC), 28-8 in Thursday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Diamond Hornets face the Swansea Tigers (Swansea, SC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, October 11. Lower Richland will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 52-20 non-league loss to Gilbert (Gilbert, SC).
The Bearcats (2-4) will now prepare for their bout against Dreher (Columbia, SC). The Blue Devils enter the non-league bout with a 1-3 record. In their last bout, Dreher lost by Orangeburg-Wilkinson (Orangeburg, SC), 22-7, in a non-league bout.
