October 5, 2023: Williamstown, WV 26187 The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Wood County Christian Wildcat (Williamstown, WV) and the visiting Sissonville Indians (Charleston, WV), saw Wood County Christian's soccer squad triumph over Sissonville by a margin of 9-1.
The Wildcat now sport a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Caldwell for a non-league test on Monday, October 9. Wood County Christian will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Brooke (Wellsburg, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 9-5.
With the loss, Sissonville drops to 6-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Nitro (Nitro, WV) to encounter the Wildcats in a Cardinal test on Thursday, October 12. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 13-2. Nitro won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Ripley (Ripley, WV)
