The Mechanicsville Mustangs topped the host Armstrong Wildcats volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Thursday's league test.

The Mustangs now have a 6-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a Capital test on Tuesday, October 10. Mechanicsville will confront a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 league win over Varina (Richmond, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 7-6.

The Wildcats (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Huguenot (Richmond, VA). The Falcons enter the non-league test with a 2-6 record. In their last test, Huguenot was knocked off by Clover Hill (Midlothian, VA), 3-0, in a league test.
