October 5, 2023: Dunkerton, IA 50626 The Don Bosco Dons volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Dunkerton Raiders to 0 in the Dons league victory on Thursday.
The Dons now have a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Belle Plaine for a non-league game on Saturday, October 7. Don Bosco will meet a Plainsmen team coming off a 3-2 league loss to H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Plainsmen record now stands at 15-8.
The Raiders (14-16) will now prepare for their game against Waukon (Waukon, IA). The Indians enter the non-league game with a 8-13 record. In their last game, Waukon dropped by New Hampton (New Hampton, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
