October 5, 2023: Pleasant Plains, AR 72568 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR) and the visiting Rose Bud Ramblers (Rose Bud, AR), saw Midland's volleyball squad beat Rose Bud by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Midland upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Lee (Marianna, AR) to play the Trojans in a 2A East bout on Monday, October 9. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 2-8. Lee lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR)
The Ramblers now own a 4-13 record. They play next when they travel to Little Rock Southwest for a non-league bout on Monday, October 9. Rose Bud will play a Gryphons squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Bryant (Bryant, AR). The Gryphons record now stands at 1-14.
