October 5, 2023: Owings, MD 20736 The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Northern Patriots (Owings, MD) and the visiting Thomas Stone Cougars (Waldorf, MD), saw Northern's volleyball squad beat Thomas Stone by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Northern upgrades its record to 10-0 on the year. The Patriots travel to Chopticon (Morganza, MD) to play the Braves in a Southern Maryland bout on Monday, October 9. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Chopticon won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Lackey (Indian Head, MD)
The Cougars now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Calvert for a Southern Maryland bout on Monday, October 9. Thomas Stone will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Patuxent (Lusby, MD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 4-3.
