October 5, 2023: Phoenix, AZ 85040 The South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ) volleyball tipped the visiting Youngker Roughriders (Buckeye, AZ), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league outing.
With the win, South Mountain upgrades its record to 9-9 on the year. The Jaguars travel to Fairfax (Laveen, AZ) to face the Stampede in a 5A - Metro outing on Monday, October 16. The Stampede go into the outing with a record of 1-15. Fairfax lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ)
The Roughriders now own a 10-8 record. They play next when they travel to Buckeye for a 5A - Central Valley outing on Thursday, October 12.
