October 5, 2024: Ashtabula, OH 44004 The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Windham Bombers (Windham, OH) and the host St. John Fighting Herald (Ashtabula, OH), witnessed Windham's football squad edge St. John by a tally of 32-26.
The Bombers (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Vanlue (Vanlue, OH). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Vanlue was nudged by Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN), 62-20, in a non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Fighting Herald battle the Harding Skippers (Fairport Harbor, OH) in a Northeastern contest, on Friday, October 11. St. John will attempt to better on its 1-5 season record. The Skippers enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 38-0 league loss to Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH).
