October 5, 2024: White River Junction, VT 05001 Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) backers exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Rutland advances its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Mount Anthony (Bennington, VT) to clash with the Patriots in a SVL-A test on Friday, October 11. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 5-5.
The Hurricanes now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. Hartford will clash with a Cosmos team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Windsor (Windsor, VT). The Cosmos record now stands at 8-4.
