Washington High School Volleyball - Mt. Baker tips Orcas Island
October 5, 2024: Eastsound, WA 98245 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA) and the host Orcas Island Vikings (Eastsound, WA), observed Mt. Baker's volleyball team hold off Orcas Island by a count of 2-1.
The Mountaineers (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blaine (Blaine, WA). The Borderites enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record.
Next, the Vikings meet the Granite Falls Tigers (Granite Falls, WA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, October 7. Orcas Island will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 6-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Mount Vernon Christian (Mount Vernon, WA).
