Virginia High School Soccer - Evergreen Christian knocks off Lanham Christian
October 5, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20175 The Evergreen Christian Eagles (Leesburg, VA) soccer overwhelmed the visiting Lanham Christian Lions (Lanham, MD), 7-3 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now hold a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Fairfax HomeSchool for a NVIAC challenge on Monday, October 7. Evergreen Christian will encounter a Hawks squad coming off a 5-0 non-league win over Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Lanham Christian moves to 2-2 on the year. The Lions travel to Takoma Academy (Takoma Park, MD) to encounter the Tigers in a Maryland Independent Schools I challenge on Tuesday, October 8. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Takoma Academy lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenandoah Valley Academy (New Market, VA)
