Michigan High School Soccer - Wayland knocks off Greenville
October 5, 2024: Wayland, MI 49348 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Wayland Wildcats (Wayland, MI) and the visiting Greenville Yellow Jackets (Greenville, MI), saw Wayland's soccer squad triumph over Greenville by a count of 8-0.
The Wildcats (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI). The Trojans enter the Ottawa-Kent - Gold battle with a 10-8 record. In their last battle, Thornapple Kellogg Wyoming (Wyoming, MI), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Yellow Jackets confront the Lowell Red Arrows (Lowell, MI) in a Ottawa-Kent - White battle, on Monday, October 7. Greenville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Red Arrows enter the battle with a 6-9 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI).
