Illinois High School Soccer - Jacobs toppled by Hersey
October 5, 2024: Algonquin, IL 60102 Hersey Huskies (Arlington Heights, IL) boosters exited the stadium pleased Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Jacobs Golden Eagles (Algonquin, IL), 7-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Hersey moves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Huskies host Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL) to clash with the Mustangs in a Mid-Suburban - East test on Tuesday, October 8. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 12-2. Rolling Meadows 1-1 in their recent league test against Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL)
The Golden Eagles now sport a 7-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Crystal Lake Central for a Fox Valley test on Tuesday, October 8. Jacobs will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 2-1 league win over McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 12-3.
