The Wildcats now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Lingleville for a 1A Region II District 14 bout on Tuesday, October 8. Rising Star will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Moran (Moran, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 13-20.
With the loss, Coleman drops to 4-24 on the campaign. The Bluecats host Hico (Hico, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 2A Region I District 5 bout on Tuesday, October 8. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-12. Hico lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Hamilton (Hamilton, TX)
