October 5, 2024: Epworth, IA 52045 Decorah-North Winneshiek Vikings (Decorah, IA) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Western Dubuque Bobcats (Epworth, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Decorah-North Winneshiek improves its record to 15-7 on the season. The Vikings travel to Charles City (Charles City, IA) to face the Comets in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. The Comets go into the test with a record of 15-5. Charles City won 3-0 in their recent league test against Crestwood (Cresco, IA)
The Bobcats now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waverly-Shell Rock for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 8. Western Dubuque will face a Go-Hawks squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over AGWSR (Ackley, IA). The Go-Hawks record now stands at 11-16.
