The Fort Edward Flying Forts volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Lansingburgh Knights to 0 in the Flying Forts non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Flying Forts now have a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mechanicville for a non-league outing on Saturday, October 5. Fort Edward will play a Red Raiders team coming off a 3-1 league win over Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-8.
With the loss, Lansingburgh drops to 1-11 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Albany Academy for Girls (Albany, NY) to play the Bears in a Section 2 Colonial - Liberty outing on Tuesday, October 8. The Bears come into the outing with a record of 0-5.
